Sarah Irene Heath McClelland, 86, Markleville, died September 22, 2005 at her daughter’s residence after an extended illness.
She was born March 23, 1919 in Pendleton, Indiana, and resided in Markleville, Indiana. She lived in the Markleville-Pendleton area all of her life. She was a devoted mother and worked at Markleville Greenhouse. She retired from East Elementary as a cook.
She is survived by her son: Louis Dean & wife Wanda McClelland of Kentucky. Daughters: Kay Crose, Ella May & husband Joe Fridley, Candy & husband Doug McFarland all of Markleville and Sally & husband J. Robert Waymire of Muncie. Stepson: Kenneth McClelland of San Antonio, Texas. Sister: Mary Jane Gernand. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Adrain Silas McClelland in January 1980. Son: Rex Gene McClelland. Step Daughter: Frances Galliher. Brothers: Frederick Heath and. Elmer Heath. Sister: Louise Muller. Parents: Oscar & Dovie Ebbert Heath.
