Sarah Coyle Lee, a long time resident of Weston, died on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Sarah (Sally) was born on January 27, 1925 in Danbury and attended local schools. She graduated from Danbury State Teachers college and taught in the Weston public schools until her retirement. Sally also volunteered with the Connecticut Red Cross for over 25 years receiving several awards for her exemplary participation and willingness to give of her time. Sally was an accomplished bridge player and loved traveling with friends to exotic places, such as Africa, Italy, Spain, Egypt and Ireland to name a few. Sally was predeceased by her husband Bob in 1976. She was also predeceased by a brother John Coyle, and two sisters, Patricia Coyle and Mary Coyle Tobin. She is survived by sisters Sheila Coyle Dolan, and Jean Coyle Oldham. Other survivors include Jack and Paulette Coyle; James and Lynda Coyle; John and Stephanie Dolan; Barbara Jackson; David and Deirdre Nesline; Kathleen and Geoff Gallo; Geraldine and Chuck Brady; Maura and John McCarthy; FJ and Marcie Oldham and many grand nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Crosby Commons and Bishop Wicke nursing home for their excellent and compassionate care during her stay at the facilities.
