Sara Robinson Fortson of Greensboro, GA passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Greensboro, GA on December 2, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Claud Edgar Robinson, Sr. and Marie Audrey McWhorter Robinson.
Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Walker Fortson and son, Matt Fortson in 2004; a brother, Claud Edgar Robinson, Jr.; and a sister, Audrey Robinson Lunceford. She is survived by a son and his wife, Gregory Kenneth Fortson and Delaine of Modesto, CA; two granddaughters, Sally Fortson (Brian Ellis) of Irvine, CA and Sara Fortson of Los Angeles, CA; great granddaughter, Emerson Rose Ellis; other relatives and friends.
