Jesus finished preparing Sara’s room and called her to her heavenly home Sunday, April 15th at 4:15 pm. She was surrounded by family and friends at home after a spirited 19 year battle against breast then liver cancer.
Born in Dothan, AL to Henry and Helen (Smith) Loftin Oct 28, 1941, her family moved to Pensacola in 1954. She graduated from Escambia High (Go Rebels) in the class of 1960 then attended business school in Pensacola. She worked many years at Hamrick Htg & A/C. Sara first met her husband on the golf course and they married Nov. 22, 1975.
