Sara L. Wheeler, 77, of Anderson, passed away on March 10, 2014 at the Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN. She was born on May 2, 1936 in Kokomo, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Sara graduated from Western High School and attended Franklin College. She was a retired cook for Madison County Juvenile Center. She was a member of New Life Christian Church and Grace New Life Apostolic. She loved to play the organ. She loved spending time with people.
Sara is survived by her loving son, Bruce Becky Wheeler of Anderson, IN, sister, Nancy Exmeyer of Kokomo, IN, sister-in-law, Carolyn Hobbs of Russiaville, IN, sister-in-law, Georgia Hobbs of Cutler, IN, several nieces and nephews, and friend, Darrell Langley of Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband John Wheeler, father, Wright Hobbs, mother, Hattie Hobbs, brothers, Billy Hobbs, Ross Hobbs, Henry Hobbs, sister, Joyce Clelland, granddaughter, Teresa Wheeler.
