Sara L. Geissinger, 85, of Lansdale, previously of Quakertown & Souderton, died Thurs. July 2 at Dock Woods Community. She was the widow of Darwin A. Geissinger. Born in Franconia Twp., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Katie (Landes) Halteman. She was a member of Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown where she had served as a Sunday School & Bible School teacher, as a custodian, and on the sewing circle. Surviving are children Laverne, wife Joyce, Barto, D. Lamar, wife Marlene, Ronks, Merrill, wife Rhonda, Boyertown, Ronald, Quakertown, Aileen Naudascher, husband David, Milford Square, Betty Jane Mininger, husband Timothy, Telford, and Cheryl Marie Kiley husband James, Downingtown; brothers, Linford & Floyd, both of Lebanon, Elvin, Telford, Ralph, Ontario, Canada, sisters, Irene Hackman, Souderton, & Alma Bauman, Ontario, Canada; 18 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by infant daughter Lorraine, great-grandson, Diego Martinez, brothers, Alan & Claude, & sister, Edith Schmidt.
