Sara Middlebrooks Lee, age 84, of LaGrange passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice of LaGrange. She was born on February 13, 1937 to the late C.H. & Ora Middlebrooks in Roanoke, AL.
She loved butterflies, George Straight and was a huge Auburn fan. Sara worked at Shaw Industries for 30 years before retiring. She lived up to her name in the kitchen and friends and family loved her peanut brittle and desserts she made.
Along with her parents, Sara is preceded in death by her husband Jerry “Don” Lee. She was a wonderful mother to Lisa Fain and Jerry Lee (Dana). She has two grandchildren, Lauren Holloway (Charles), Leslie Fain and five great grandchildren, Marissa, Brayden, Hadley, Ana and Gio.
