Sara E. ”Sally” Ehle May, 92, Anderson, died April 7, 2007 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus-Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born March 14, 1915 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in the Anderson area all of her life. She was a homemaker.
Sally was a member of the Fifth Street United Methodist Church and the Friendship Circle. She loved to play the organ.
She is survived by her children: Richard L. & wife Paula May of Anderson, David K. & wife Mary May of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Patricia & husband Lawrence Krebs of Anderson. Seven Grandchildren: Lisa M. Haines, Kevin C. Krebs, Debbie Cobb, Martin May, Jackie Howard, Megan Philip and Lynsie Campbell. Twelve Great Grandchildren: Brianna Krebs, Rebecca Krebs, Grace Krebs, Tanner Cobb, Cory Cobb, Taylor Cobb, Jacob May, Robbie May, Randy May, Reid Howard, Alex Howard and Phoebe Philip. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married October 6, 1938: Mansel Chase ”Bud” May who passed away May 28, 1988. Parents: Conrad C. & Vada Braddock Ehle. Six brothers and six sisters also precede her.
