Sara Alice Byler (nee Troyer), 87, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 at the home of her daughter in Bedford, PA. She was born July 1st, 1935 in Middlefield, Ohio, a daughter of late Noah D. and Mattie (Farmwall) Troyer. Sara is once again reunited with her loving husband of 60 years, Freeman A. Byler, who died August 2nd, 2018.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Timothy) Stauffer of East Freedom, PA, Susan (Lynford) Miller of Eureka, NV, Lloyd (Rose Ann) Byler of Choteau, MT, Galen (Marian) Byler of Eureka, NV, Juanita (Jason) Hochstetler of Bedford, PA; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther (Fritz) Miller, Betty (Andy) Weaver; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sara is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Freeman; 1 great-granddaughter; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.
