Santina (Sammy) Ernst, passed peacefully away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her home at Hoffman Summerwood Community in West Hartford. Predeceased by her husband Fred, Sammy grew up in Ridgefield, CT and raised her beloved family in Mt. Kisco. She and Fred retired to Freedom Green in Mansfield Center and made many new friends. Known by all as kind hearted and wise, Sammy always put others first. She dearly loved her family, friends and feline friend Phoebe. Sammy is survived by her children and their families, Lynn of Seattle, Fred of Denver, Kurt of Rochester and Todd of Brooklyn.
