She is survived by devoted husband, Robert Kaenan; and daughter, Karen Modjeska; grandsons, Jackson and Riley Modjeska-Oravec, brother John Slovski; sisters, Beverly Cronin (Patrick), Marian Shaffer (Roger), Carol Mancini, and Susan Godfrey.
Sandy loved to entertain. She threw the best parties. She was known for making the best pies especially Key Lime Pie.
She spent winters in Florida. She retired 2011 from Medical Mutual. She volunteered with homeless shelters and the local food bank.
Sandy was happy to never see a James Bond movie. She loved playing card games and watching Stranger Things.
