Sandra Y. Strakey, 74, of Bethlehem passed away on, Tuesday, September 8, 2015, in her home.
Born in Allentown she was the only child of the late Charles and Ruth (Patterson) Yates. Sandy was a graduate of Liberty High School and Bethlehem Business College. She worked as a Merchandise Manager at Piercing Pagoda for about 10 years. Sandy was a long term cancer survivor and also had a passion for animals serving as a member of the Humane Society.
Survivors: surviving are sons, Alan J. Strakey and his wife, Abbie Cruse-Strakey of NYC and Peter A. Strakey of Morgantown, W. VA; two granddaughters, Julia Grace-St. Pierre Strakey and Sloan Josephine Strakey.
