Sandra “Sue” Bilbrey, 80, of Anderson, passed away on January 18, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on January 1, 1941, in New Castle, Indiana to the late Dorothy and Roland Martin.
Sue graduated from Cadiz High School in 1959 and retired from General Motors in 1994 after 49 years of service. She was a longtime member of the Beta Sigma Phi Pendleton Chapter. Sue loved playing cards, table games, gambling, gardening, cooking, doting on her two boys, and most of all, spending time with her beloved family.
Sue is survived by her loving spouse, Hubert W. Bilbrey; two sons, David Lee (Maria) Burke, and Gregory Ray (Lisa) Burke; step-daughter, Tonya (Chris) Vorisek; sisters, Thelma Teeters, Dixie Shaffer, Beverly (Charles) Vaughn, Pat (Merrill) Schuyler, Vicki (Bill) Wise; brother, Ronnie (Barb) Martin; grandchildren, T.J. Burke, Ryan (Hannah) Burke, Katie (Jay) Clark, Loren Burke, Josh (Cain) Burke, Noah Vorisek, Sean Vorisek, Mikayla Bilbrey; great-grandchildren, Mia Burke, Leia Burke, Landon Burke, Cayden Clark, Caleb Clark, Connor Clark, sister-in-law, Judy Gulley; and brother-in-law David Bilbrey.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Roland Martin; sister, Debra Martin; brother, Bill (Lois) Martin; sisters-in-law, Vechell Keaton, and Charlotte Fox; and brother-in-laws Denny Shaffer and Norris Teeters.
