Sandra Stapler Townsend, 72, of Newnan passed away January 31, 2021. Sandra was born on July 25, 1948 to the late Wilson Buford Stapler and Lois Yates Stapler. Along with her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brother, Merlin Stapler. She is survived by her children, Scott Thornton, Susan (Thornton) Robinson, and Shannon (Ashley) Hobbs; grandchildren, Jared Robinson, Desirae (Thornton) Prance, Kasen Hobbs, Johnny Hobbs, and Lena Hobbs; and her sisters, Helen Stephenson, Carolyn Young, and Denise Tenney. Sandra enjoyed drawing and painting, as well as dancing to her favorite country music.
