Sandra “Sandy” Kay Pope, 65, of Trafalgar, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Sandy was born on June 20, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Virginia “Ginnie” and Robert “Bobby” Pope.
Sandy was a mother her whole life. She loved raising her family and treasured every moment she could share with them. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and making memories with her loved ones, especially Dori, her dog. She loved everyone in her family the same and cherished everyone she knew – she had a heart of gold and truly understood how to love.
Sandy is survived by two daughters, Mary (Willy) Quinones of Indianapolis, IN and Mikie O’Harra of Edinburgh, IN; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Charles Pope, Duke Robert Pope, Noah Pope, and Daniel Savage; three sisters, Chrissy Pope, Bobby Jo Pope, and Marty Earlene Savage.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Ginnie and Bobby Pope; her daughter, Gennifer Wilson; her son, Edwin O’Harra; her sister, Charlene Pope.
