Sandra H. “Sandy” Pearlman, 85, of West Lafayette, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus.
She was born on October 23, 1936, in Clinton, Iowa, to the late Harry and Selma Andersen Huebner. At the age of 6, she moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin-where she spent her childhood. She then attended Carroll College and became a medical technician. On May 24, 1973, in Lafayette, IN, she married Louis Pearlman, Jr.-who passed away on May 28, 1992.
She was an active board member and participant of United Way; the Community Foundation; the Lafayette Symphony; YWCA; Friends of Downtown Lafayette; Temple Israel; and many other worthy organizations.
Surviving Sandy are her daughter, Jennifer Hunter of Evanston, IL; son, Ben (Caren) Pearlman of Needham, MA; daughter-in-law, Meghan Hunter, of Townsend, GA; sister-in-law, Mary Huebner of Aiken, SC; & 8 adored grandchildren. Sandy will be missed by all family and friends who knew her and loved her. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Matthew Hunter; husband, Louis Pearlman, Jr.; brother, George Huebner; & sister, Susan Olson.
