Sandra Kay Nall (Kay-Kay), the second daughter and the fifth child of Virtle Sharber Nall and James William Nall, was born in Mansville, Ohio on January 2, 1952. She attended elementary school in Mansville until the age of seven when the family relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1959. Kay-Kay continued her education with the Indianapolis Public Schools. She graduated from Shortridge High School.

Sandy accepted Christ at age of twelve with her love for Jesus and accepted him under the pastorship of the late Rev. H.T.Toliver  and the late Dr. Wayne T. Harris Sr.

Sandy opened a daycare in August 2000, where she was owner and operator, called “A Place for Kids.” For 14 years it was just her and her sister (Aleatha). Sandy was a cook at the Little Lamb Daycare. During football season Sandy would work at Lucas Oil Stadium as a Security Usher.

On February 9, 2021, in the afternoon, while at IU Methodist Hospital, Sandra K. Nall answered the call and departed from earthly labor to heavenly rest. She was 69 years 1 month and 7 days old. KayKay was preceded in death by both parents: James & Virtle Nall and two brothers :William Ray Nall and Willard Eugene Nall Sr.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory three children: two sons: Deon L. Lindsey and Naekieo D. Lindsey; one daughter: Tameka Dumes (Corey); 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, two brothers: Jerald L. Nall (Pamela) and Marvis Allen Nall; one sister: Aleatha Nall Chislom (Carl); aunt: Leatha M. Adams; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, nieces; great-nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-great nephews; special friends: David Lindsey and Stephanie Smith and many cousins and friends.
