Sandra Mary Ruth Martinez, 17, of Azusa, peacefully passed away March 6, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to Emily Hernandez and Raymond Martinez, Jr., Dec. 21, 1996 in Arcadia, CA. Sandra was an Azusa High School honor student, an aspiring trauma surgeon, and intern at St. Mary’s Hospital in Long Beach. She was also a member of the Azusa High Cheer Squad, AVID College Readiness System, and the National Honor Society.
Sandra is survived by her parents, sister, Rebecca Marin, brother, Justin Martinez, nephews, Javier and Jakob Meza, uncle Victor Martinez, paternal grandmother, Patricia Martinez, maternal grandparents, Francisco and Maria Hernandez, godparents, Dora Guardado and Antonio Diaz, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rosary will be Thurs., Mar. 13th at 6:30 pm.
