Born and raised in New Smyrna Beach, Mrs. Fleishmann, moved to Ellijay, Georgia in 2006 from Edgewater. She was a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School. Mrs. Fleishmann was the first female police officer in Edgewater, and later worked as a security officer at the Cape until disabled..
She is survived by her husband, Bruce, 3 sons; Scott of Palm Coast, Chet and Brad, both of New Smyrna Beach, daughter; Trisha Lee of Vicksburg, Mississippi, brother; Skip Caldwell of Salida, Colorado, sister; Sheri Hathaway of Port Orange, mother; Marilyn Caldwell of New Smyrna Beach, 2 grandchildren, Haley and Hunter Lee, both of Vicksburg.
