Sandra Lee (Brauer) Davis, 55, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Born in Middletown, she is the daughter of Naomie (Floros) Brauer Crouch of Middletown and the late Theodore Brauer. Everyone who knew Sandy knew her in a different way. Some knew her as a diligent employee; Sandy was always willing to help out at work when they were understaffed and her coworkers were over burdened. She was always available when her coworkers were in need. Others that knew Sandy knew her as the sweetest person they ever met. When she smiled, you knew it was true and genuine. Sandy’s family knew her as a person who always beat life’s odds. She had many obstacles to hurdle. She beat each one with courage and strength. Her daughters knew her as a mother who would do anything for her children. Sandy worked hard to provide for her children. Even when she had nothing left for herself, her children never went without. For all who knew her, Sandy has left behind an example of how to be brave, strong, hard working, and caring. Her daughters both hope they can be as great a mother to their own children as she was to them. Along with her mother, Sandy is survived by two daughters, Leann Laspino and her husband, David of Colchester and Heather Davis and her fiancé, Aaron Erdman of Middletown; three sisters, Claudia Smith of Elgin, TX, June Bishop of Middletown and Amy Kloten of Newington; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
