Sandra Lee Borgan went home to the Lord on April 9, 2021 after a brief illness. Sandy was born in Indiana to Chester and Edith (Tweedy) Booher. She lived in Indiana and Kentucky before coming to Alaska on vacation in 1960. There she met (and married) Eugene Fred Borgan and made Alaska her home.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; sister,Betty (Wagner) and brother, Robert (Booher). Sandy is survived by her children, Martha Kilbourne (Keith); Catherine Cobb (David); John Borgan; Kevin Borgan (Kimberly). In addition, Sandy has 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; her sister, Shirley Drussell; her brother, Joseph York; along with many nieces and nephews.
