Sandra Kay Ralston, known to all as Sandy, 76, of Fishers, passed away September 18, 2020 at Edgewater Woods in Anderson. She was born January 5, 1944 in Wabash, Indiana to Bertha and Charles Eckman. Sandra graduated from Wabash High School in 1962. She worked at Anderson Bank for many years and retired as the office manager and bookkeeper from Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department after 13 years. She loved playing golf, traveling, going to auctions, antiquing, quilting and sewing. She also loved her handkerchiefs and going to concerts. Sandra enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and participating in the Haunted Trails with the Hamilton County Parks Department. She was an avid reader, loved music, and most of all being with her family who she adored. Sandra is survived by her loving husband, George Ralston, whom she married February 8, 1974; children, Nathan S. Lykins and Lesley D. Volk; step-daughter, Dawn L. Ralston; grandsons, Ethan and Evan Volk; three step-grand-children; three step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Lance (Karen) Eckman; nephews, Bret and Mark Eckman, and Bruce Bridges; great-nephew, Kristopher (Kimmi) Eckman; cousins, Jim Eckman, JoEllen Eckman Cline, and Paul Schmidt; brother-in-law, John (Vickie) Ralston; sister-in-law, Tamara (David) Bridges, and numerous friends who adored her. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
