Sandra Kay Woods, 71, of Elkhart, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Woodland Manor.
Sandra was born on May 18, 1950 to the late, Clair Robert McClure and Ivella Hope (Clipp) McClure.
Sandra is survived by her children, Melissa Woods and Shane Robert Woods, both of Elkhart; grandchildren, Geoffery Hart, Parker Hart and Paige Hart, all of Elkhart; and sisters, Beth (Don) Huss and Brenda (Garry) Harrington, both of Elkhart and close cousin, Austin Hart of Osceola.
Sandra was a lifelong resident of Elkhart who lived the same home for 35 years. She worked at Selmer and NIBCO in Elkhart. Sandra was the definition of “free spirit”. She proudly travelled around the country in the 1960’s in a VW van. She enjoyed drinking her coffee and solving puzzles on her phone in her spare time.
Sandra was a caring and supportive mom and grandmother. She had a generous heart, great sense of humor and she will be greatly missed.
