Sandra Kay (Drexler) Fair, 64, went from the loving arms of her family into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center in Fairlawn, Ohio. Sandra was born on February 22, 1958 in Akron to William and Reecia Drexler and had been an area resident her entire life. For the past 4 years she resided at Green Village Skilled Nursing Facility in Akron, Ohio.
“Sandy” dearly cherished family and friends and she never knew a stranger for she immediately would see Christ in others and would love them the way Christ loved them. She enjoyed reading her Bible, living The Word of God her entire life. She was born with cerebral palsy but she never considered herself disabled but only “able” to be all that she can be through Christ who created and strengthened her. She suffered a great deal throughout her life and especially the past two months in Hospice. She truly was a victim soul. She was forever grateful to those who cared for her; so much so that her last words were “thank you”.

Besides her parents, Bill and the late Reecia Drexler, she leaves behind her husband, Michael Fair, loving and adoring son and daughter-in-law, Justice and Hannah Fair, Step Son Brandon Fair and Step Daughter Kara (Mike) Deangelis. She also leaves behind her precious and loving “Mom (June) Rietz” and deceased “Dad (Leslie) Rietz” her sisters, Becky (Greg) Plasity, Mimi McDonald, Mary Clare Rietz (Mike Marcotte), and brothers William Drexler, Christopher (Deb) Rietz, deceased brother Joseph Rietz, Paul (Kay) Rietz, John Rietz (Rachel), along with many beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her special grand-dog “Beau” who was her favorite companion. She is expecting her granddaughter, Sophia, in July. She also leaves behind her loving McNeill brothers and sisters. Her legacy will live on through her family!

Sandy whispered a message to all: Love one another and always stay together no matter what because that’s what family does. Forgiveness and Love are so important. That’s what the Lord always wants from us.
