Sandra Kay “Sandy” Burton Netz passed away after a long hard fought battle against cancer on July 7, 2016 in San Antonio Texas. Sandra was a much loved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt. Sandra was born on September 23, 1947 at home and was raised in Grafton, WV she attended Grafton High School with the class of 1965.Sandra was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Burton Sr. and E. Lewana Jarvis Burton and the granddaughter of the late Helen Burton Quinn and the late Anna Pauline Taylor Jarvis. She was also preceded in death by her younger sister Annamarie Burton Giesler of Keyser, WV and her great aunt Rita Jean Robinson of Grafton, WV.Sandra was a beautician and a homemaker and then became a property manager later in life while living in Texas. Sandra Kay is survived by two sons and their families, Christopher M. Netz of San Antonio, TX and his son and daughter and Robert J. Netz of Fairmont and his son and daughter and Sandra’s great grandson.Sandra is also survived by her brother, Robert L. Burton II of Kingwood, WV formerly of Grafton, WV and her brother in law John Geisler of Keyser, WV.She is also survived by two nephews, Robert L. BurtonIII (Krislyn Bacchus) and Shane Patrick Burton and four nieces Jessica M. Giesler, Keri L. Burton, Lacy Lohr and Jo Ann Jones and four great nephews Kordale Travis and Koda Charlton and Brantley and Gaige Bacchus and three great nieces Rylee and lucky Jones and Chandlar Bacchus. Sandra truly loved and enjoyed life especially the last thirteen years spent living near her son in Texas. She was a true friend to everyone and a loving caring person throughout her life. She especially enjoyed her time spent doing some things on her bucket list.
