Sandra K. Mitchell, 60, of Brighton, Colorado died on August 1, 2017. She was born on July 17, 1957 in Denver, Colorado to Kenneth and Dorothy (Beierle) Mitchell. Sandra was a 1975 graduate of Brighton High School.
Sandra worked as an agent for her father, Farmers Insurance of Brighton. She also worked for Adams County road maintenance department and the county assessor. She was a loving mother and a doting grandmother; loved her animals, especially her cats.
Sandra is survived by her mother Dorothy of Brighton; ex-husband, Dave Walker; daughters, Jolyn (Steve) Cardos and Jacey Walker both of Brighton; six grandchildren, Jordan, Jerret, Joshuah, Jondra, Jesse James and Jase-Pnut; one great-granddaughter, Juliette. Preceded in death by her father, Ken in 2015 and sister Gail in 2006.
