Sandra L. Johnson, age 66 of Stockton, died Tuesday, January 01, 2013 at home. She was born the daughter of Anna Lee Morehead on March 28, 1946 in Freeport. She married Robert Johnson Jr. on April 4, 1964 in Warren, IL.
Sandy had worked as a Deputy for the JoDaviess County Sheriffs Department where she was the D.A.R.E. officer for 15 years. She had also worked at the Stockton Floral Shop for Bob & Penny Williams, and helped out at the Stockton High School. She had been a Cub Scout Den Leader and enjoyed watching her sons & grandchildren play ball, crocheting, arts & crafts, bowling, and traveling with friends.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Johnson and Dave Johnson of Stockton; four grandchildren, Nick and Sam Johnson, and Alex & Lauren Johnson; great granddaughter Alayna; two sisters, Susan McGinnis of Monroe, WI, and Margaret Morehead of IA; and brother Mark Morehead of AR. She was preceded in death by her mother, granddaughter Megan, and brother Phillip Morehead.
