Sandra Jo Swiger, 69, of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born April 27, 1941 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late William W. Cottrill and Opal G. Starkey Cottrill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Edward Swiger on May 19, 2007. She is survived by three daughters; Katrina R. Haggerty and husband Randy of Cumberland, Md, Pamela L. Holt and husband John of Core, WV, Patricia A. Winning of Clarksburg; one son; James D. Winning of Bridgeport; one step-son; Derek Weaver and wife Heather of Shinnston; ten grandchildren; Jennifer R. Johnson and husband Brandon, John Holt IV, Tara R. Oldaker and husband Joshua, Bobby Winning, Cheyenne Winning, Andrew Winning, Phillip Gango, Bryce Weaver, Haden Weaver and Reese Weaver; two great grandchildren; one sister; Betty J. Ritchie-Cottrill of Clarksburg and one brother; Ronald W. Cottrill of Florida. She was preceded in death by one sister; Shirley A. Griffin. She loved her animals and her Lord, and she loved her family dearly. She will be deeply missed.
