Sandra Jenkins Vollrath, age 73, of Newnan passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mrs. Vollrath was born in Flovilla, GA on March 23, 1946 to Lamar and Margaret Jenkins. She was a lady that seemed to excel at everything that she did. During her early life she worked as a secretary at Charlie Brown Airport and within no time was running it. In the meantime, she obtained her commercial pilot’s license. She also devoted over 25 years of her life to being a paramedic and then became a top earning realtor. Sandra enjoyed riding her motorcycles throughout the years and having many pets. From an early age, she was a member of Flovilla Baptist Church and wherever she was living always made church and praying a priority. She was undoubtedly the life of the party and was a loyal friend who would always make you laugh.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Christi Vollrath. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wesley Volrath; a son, Robert Vollrath; her grandchildren, Jaden, Chelsey, and Jaycey; her mother, Margaret Sikes; a brother, Rick (Jeanie) Jenkins; and nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Shannon, Wyatt, and Joshua.
