Sandra Jean Van Pelt, age 71, of Carthage, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, surrounded by her family.
Sandra was born in Illinois on April 7, 1951, to the late Paul Van Pelt and Margaret Redden Brewster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
An avid WWE fan for many years also enjoyed writing her many pen pals all over the world.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori Rothermund (Logan) of Virginia, Donna Miller (Dennis) of Denton; sisters, Doris Drossart of Idaho and Marilyn Baxley (James) of Raeford; brother, Patton Brewster (Donna) of Eagle Springs; grandchildren, Jeremy, Zebulan, Ira, Eli, Margaret, Benjamin, Lily and Ian; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Malorie, Oliver, Madison and Levi.
