SALEM – Sandra Lee Hochadel, age 78, of Salem, died at 5:07 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017 at her son, Jeff’s home in Salem. She was born June 17, 1939 in Youngstown, the daughter of late George and Lauretta (Trimbur) Cunningham.
She was a 1957 graduate of Poland High School and graduated from St. Elizabeth Hospital Nursing School, was a member of the First Christian Church, and was a nurse for Dr. Terrance Casey.
Sandy loved playing tennis with her husband and enjoyed gardening, landscaping and the outdoors. She was a loving mother and loved spending time with the grandchildren.
Her husband, C. Jere Hochadel, whom she married September 24, 1960 preceded her on March 14, 2015.
Survivors include three sons, Keith (Sarah) Hochadel of Canton, Jeff (Wendy) Hochadel of Salem and Lee (Juli) Hochadel of Salem; and seven grandchildren, Jered Hochadel, Mason Hochadel, Carli Hochadel, Blake Hochadel, Haley Hochadel, Abi Hochadel, Emma Hochadel, Bryan Horning, and Sophie Horning..
