Sandra Henchman Cole, age 59, of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Milford Health Care in Milford after fighting a long and courageous battle with a brain tumor. Born on September 10, 1952 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Robert L and Edna Holt Henchman. Sandra moved to St. Petersburg, FL. but returned to Milford 27 years ago where she worked for her cousin Bill Wargo at E. Stiewing Movers for 25 years. Sandra loved her family and friends fiercely and was a passionate and devoted mom, sister and aunt. She was known for her quick wit and contagious laugh and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her cherished son, John Lawson Cole of Milford, her siblings, Susan Henchman Pavelko and Leland Henchman (Priscilla) all of Milford, her nieces and nephews, David Pavelko (Cara), Amy Donegan (James), Russel Henchman (Christina) and Daniel Henchman (Casey) and her grand nieces and nephews, Tucker, Colin, Kaylee and Leila. Sandra is also survived by her son’s father, Christian Cole of Milford who was extremely supportive and compassionate to Sandra and her family during this difficult time.
