Those left to honor Sandi’s memory are her daughter, Traci (and Jeff) Shepley of Baxter; son, Ryan (and Hilary) Bucklin of Baxter; her 2 step-daughters, Jane Reutter of Boca Raton, Florida and Kate Tyler of Sante Fe, New Mexico; step-son, Jude (and Marla) Tyler of Grimes, Iowa; her 6 grandchildren, AJ Flora, Abbey, and Cael Shepley, Tyler Bucklin, and Gage and Grace Reutter; mother, Gerry (and Lyle) Stubbs of Kearney, Nebraska; her brother-in-law, BJ Christain of Baxter; nephew, Bill (and Jesse) Iverson of Newton; and her two Ragdoll Kittens, Bailey and Trinity.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold “Doc” Townsend in 2001; husband, Greg in 2007; two sisters, Mary Sue Townsend in 1955 and Shirley Christain in 2005; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Sandi was a graduate of Baxter Community Schools in 1970. She was an accountant and the business manager for the Baxter Schools, retiring in 2008.
