Samuel Vincent Fox, 79, of Peru, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Aperion Care in Princeton. Samuel was born December 21, 1941 in Peoria to Edward W. and Catherine Marjorie (Callahan) Fox. He attended Ottawa High School and South Illinois University. Samuel married Marie (Nosalik) Postula on October 23, 1987 in St Joseph’s Church, Peru.
He worked for Catepillar, various factories, and WalMart. Samuel enjoyed free hand woodworking, drawing, painting, watching his step-grandsons’ baseball, basketball, and soccer games, and going out to eat with his family. Survivors include his wife, Marie of Peru; step-daughter, Kim (David) Quick of Oglesby; step-grandchildren, Kyle, Jake, and Zach Quick; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Doug) Banko, Pam Nosalik, and Delores Wallin, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by, his parents; step-father, Anthony Gambo; son, Michael Fox; step-grandson, Nathan Applebee; and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Wallin and David Nosalik
