Samuel Thomas Hall, 77, died, Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North MS in Oxford, MS..m.. Warren Black officiating…m. Born in Murphey, NC, to the late Paul Houston and Marion Carnes Hall, Mr. Hall was a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Memphis State University and received his Masters from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He was a member of Oxford-University United Methodist Church. Lt. Col. Hall was the Executive Office for Naval ROTC unit at the University of Mississippi. He served as the Director of Finance for the National Center for Physical Acoustics. He went on to served as Senior V. P. of Miltec, Inc., and the Senior V. P. for Radiance Tech in Oxford. He served on the Mississippi State Personnel Board for 14 years and as the Chairman of the Lafayette County Republican Party for many years. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Thomas Hall.. Hall of Ocean Side, CA.. Col.
