Samuel “Sam” Bechstein, 67, of Bowling Green passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green.
Sam was born on November 8, 1955 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Ivan and Joan (Heinze) Bechstein. Sam is survived by his siblings: Abby Bechstein, Amy Mareches, Tony (Kathy) Bechstein, Jim (Jackie) Bechstein, Glenn (Diana) Bechstein and Charlie (Kathy) Bechstein and a host of nieces and nephews.
Sam was a 1974 graduate of Bowling Green High School and worked as a forklift operator for Southeastern Container Incorporated in Bowling Green and retired in 2022. He was a member of St. Aloysuis Catholic Church in Bowling Green. Sam enjoyed going antiquing and going to auctions, always looking for something to add to his collection. Sam also enjoyed gardening, woodworking and looking for treasures with his metal detector.
