Samuel Mostowy, age 86 of Fairfield, beloved husband of 61 years to Mary (Forbes) Mostowy, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in New Canaan, one of 15 children of the late Stephen and Pauline Mostowy, he had been a Fairfield resident for the last 59 years. A graduate of Stamford High School, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War onboard the USS Antietam (CV-36).
