Samuel “Sam” Merle Upton was a devoted and supportive husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was called home by our Lord and Savior on November 4th 2022 at the age of 69. He passed away in Niceville, Florida in his home. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Mowry, son in law Brian Mowry and grandson Michael Mowry. His daughter, Sarah and his wife Renee were there to greet him in heaven.
He was born in Guntersville, Alabama on May 3rd, 1953. He fell in love early in life with his wife, and was happily married for 45 years. Together they had two children.
He served his country for 26 years.
He will be missed and forever in our memories and in our hearts.
