Samuel Leroy Robertson, Jr, 90, of Newnan (Raymond), Georgia, passed away at his home Monday, August 13, 2018. Leroy was born in Coweta County on October 10, 1927, to the late Sam L. Robertson and Christine Martin Robertson, and spent his youth growing up in Pompano Beach, Florida. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps at the end of World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. Leroy was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time in Horseshoe Beach, Florida, over the years. He retired in 1989 from the William L. Bonnell Company as a Production Superintendent and continued his work career as co-owner of C&L Lawnmower Sales and Service in Raymond.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lunelle Mapp Robertson, his son, Gary Wayne Robertson, and his brother, Harry M. Robertson. He is survived by his second wife, Sandra Tanner Murray Robertson, son, Larry (Janet) Robertson, daughter-in-law Carol Robertson, grandchildren, Stacey Robertson Cooke, Chris (Bridgette) Robertson, Matt (Kevin) Robertson, Natalie Robertson and Melanie Robertson; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty R. Brown, Evelyn R. Smith, and Linda R. Caldwell; brother, Charles M. Robertson (Kathy); step-daughter Rhonda Barnett, step-sons Danny (Chris) Murray, Tom (Jenny) Murray; seven step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
