Samuel L. Williams 74, of Bourdon Blvd. passed away Thursday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Deborah (Martin ) Williams. Mr. Williams was born in Morganton. NC, a son of the late Cecil and Minnie Louise (Wallace) Williams. He has lived in Woonsocket for the past sixteen years. He was a construction worker for most of his life.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons Samuel Williams of Providence, Billy and Justin Williams both of Woonsocket, six daughters Margaret Moore, Sarah Hamilton, and Gloria Rutherford all of NC, Debra Williams of GA, Loretta Davis of NH, and Jessica Williams of Woonsocket, four brothers Fred Williams Sr., Daniel Williams Sr., and Jimmy Williams Sr. all of NC, Richard Williams of Germany, two sisters Hattie and Barbara Williams both of NC, sixteen grandchildren , twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Stevie and Belinda Williams, and brother of the late Eugene Williams Sr.and Ernest Williams Sr.
