Samuel Joseph Kurtz passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the age of 69. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Susan Estave Kurtz; children, Kerrie Ann Kurtz, Christian Samuel Kurtz (husband of Amy), Chad Matthew Kurtz (husband of Rebecca), Jeffrey Dean Kurtz and Kourtney Jean Kurtz . Sammy is the son of the late Herbert Joseph Kurtz and Paula Cohen Kurtz, brother of Herbie J. Kurtz and the late Paula Kurtz. Son-in-law of the late Grace Estave Piglia, grandson-in-law of the late Louise Junker, and brother-in-law to Carol Estave O’Brien and the late Jean Estave Adams. Loving and wonderful grandfather to Alexis Suzanne Perry, Andrew Daniel Wallis, Anna Grace Kurtz, Mary Elizabeth Kurtz, Brooks Carter Kurtz and Parker Samuel Kurtz; great grandfather to Elijah Robert Perry. Sammy is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and additional family members. He was a giving man who would do anything for those he cared about. He had many he called friend, and he loved his family with all his heart. They loved him alike. Sammy had many accomplishments in life, but his greatest was his five children. Now, he will rest with our Heavenly Father in peace.
