Samuel G. Greer, age 84, of Milford, passed away on Wednesday July 18, 2007, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born on April 17, 1923, in Stratford, CT, to the late John and Jessie Dornan Greer. A long time Milford resident, Sam proudly served in the US Army Air Force during WWII, as Flight Engineer for the 780th Bombardment Squadron, and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a principal owner of John Greer & Sons Builders for many years and had also worked for Drazen Lumber of North Haven and Bond-Bilt Garages of Wallingford.
