A culinary artist and gifted creator, Samuel David Ruiz Popken passed away peacefully in his sleep due to heart failure on February 7th, 2021, at the tender age of 37.
A most beloved son, father, brother, nephew and uncle, Sam was grounded by the most valued piece of his life, his family. His children Kaeden and Keirra, parents Portia and Stanley Popken, his sister Jenna and husband Jake, his niece Nicole, his nephews Mason and Gianni and close friends and companions will never forget his endless devotion to loving them.
Sam, as the generous and creative soul he was, has left this world too soon. His family and friends will continue to treasure his friendly, kind and thoughtful way throughout their journey of life. His loved ones will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
He will be deeply missed by every individual that knew him.
