Samuel D. Loparo, 73, of Bellevue passed away at home peacefully in his wife’s arms on January 4, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sam was born September 25, 1941 in Bellevue to John J. and Mary (Corrado) Loparo. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1959. Sam later graduated from Andrews Barber College in Toledo. He served his apprenticeship under his uncles at Consolo’s Barber Shop. Sam opened his own barber shop, Loparo’s Barber Shop, in 1963, the same year he married Marcia Brandstrup. The Loparos celebrated 51 years of marriage on November 30, 2014.
Sam was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, former Club Amer-Ital, Elks, and Moose Lodge in Clyde.
