Samuel Talmadge Calvert, age 70, passed into God’s glory on June 7, 2013 at his Fort Walton Beach, FL home – with family by his side.
Born July 18, 1942, he served eight years in the USAF, to include a tour of Vietnam.
Lt. Sam Calvert retired as a 25-year veteran Officer at the FWB Police Department.
Sam was loved deeply by his wife, Mary, sons Richard (Patti) and Michael (Heather) and their mother and stepdad, Lesley and Donald Hanson, grandchildren Joshua, Christin, Hazel, Violet, Ocean, Nova, and many other special family members and friends.
His family extends its endless appreciation to members of Emerald Coast Hospice – especially Dr. Steven Donchey, Gail, and Sandra – and the many others who helped care for Sam in his final days.
