Mr. Samuel Barnes Jr., proud U.S. Navy veteran was born January 10, 1942 and passed away on February 21, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Z.L. (Sam) Barnes and mother, Mrs. Laverne (Elrod) Barnes. He is survived by his wife, Nelda; daughter, Ms. Kathy Bolinger and son, Mr. Steve Barnes (Tracie); grandchildren, Adam and Eric Bolinger and Caroline and Clay Barnes; brothers, Mr. Noonan Barnes (Shirley), Mr. Charles Barnes; sisters, Mrs. Alice Kennedy (Richard) and Mrs. Mary O’Brian (Mike) and many nieces and nephews. In his retirement he enjoyed having family and friends up to his farm, especially his grandchildren to go fishing.
