Samuel Barajas Flores
Samuel Flores 75, of Nampa, ID. Passed away peacefully at home Feb. 24th, 2022 after a long battle
with cancer.
Samuel was born November 1st, 1946 to Jose and Bernaldine Flores in Tamazula Jalisco Mexico.
Samuel was 1 of 14 children
Samuel met and married his first wife Maria Valdivia in Tamazula. To this union a daughter Maria Cecilia was born.
Samuel lost both his wife and daughter in a tragic car accident in 1971.
Shortly after Samuel came to the United States in 1975 he met and later married Patricia Coski.
To this union they raised three sons. Samuel, Hilario and Michael.
Samuel worked for Fleetwood Homes for over ten years. He then went to work for Armor where he
worked until retirement in 2013.
Samuel loved being outdoors. You could always find him working in his garden, building something
or just sitting under his grapes admiring them. He was very proud of his garden and grapes and showed them
off to everyone that came by. Always offering family and friends baskets of grapes and vegetables from his garden.
His most cherished memories were when he was with his sons, his daughter in laws and his grandchildren, but
some of his best memories included his whole family.
Samuel was very proud of his sons, their wives and grandchildren.
He enjoyed hosting family get togethers , playing cards, family vacations and his yearly hunting trips.
To Samuel family was everything.
Samuel had a heart of gold. He touched many people’s lives. He was a friend, tio and dad to everyone and made sure everyone felt welcome.
He opened his heart and home to anyone in need.
He had the best and funniest sense of humor. Always making everyone laugh at his jokes
or something silly he would do.
Samuel was very proud of becoming a U.S citizen. We all laughed at how dad knew more about our country
than we did.
Samuel will be missed fiercely but the memories we all have will live on forever.
