Samuel Albin Mar Wagner, of Brighton, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015. He was 73 years old. A native of Brighton, Albin was the oldest son of Jacob D. Wagner and Leota (Wilson) Wagner. Albin graduated from Brighton High School in 1960.
A consummate scholar, he held a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in history from the University of Colorado and a master of theological studies from Harvard University. He was also certified in archival administration by the University of Denver.
