Sammy Talerico, Jr. 84, of Clarksburg, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Heritage Nursing Home, following an extended illness. He was born August 17, 1927 in Hepzibah, WV the son of the late Salvatore Talerico, Sr. and Givanni Cava Talerico. He is survived by one son; Mark Anthony Talerico and wife Janet of Kittanning, PA; one daughter; Marisa Henrickson and husband Robert of Washington, PA and one grandson; Hunter Henrickson; one brother; Alex Talerico and wife Altha of Hepzibah; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Frank Talerico and Louie Talerico; and four sisters; Annette Delise, Millie Perrie, Mary DeMastus and Rose Walli. Mr. Talerico was a veteran having served in the US Army in Germany and the Korean War. He was also formerly employed as a machinist with Hinkle Brothers for 15 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the VFW Post 573.
