Mr. Sammy Lee Wilbourn, 80, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North MS in Oxford..Born in Yalobusha County, MS, Mr. Wilbourn worked in maintenance and refrigeration and was a Baptist. He spent any chance he had outdoors working in his yard or cutting grass and enjoyed hot rods and watching racing. He especially loved camping, even if it meant taking his RV less than a mile from home. His prized procession was his 55 Chevy that was painted “Gulf Station Orange” and affectionately called “Tell Mama”.. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Marvin and Alberta Louise Haire Wilbourn..
